I never put any thought into killing wolves. They were just annoying creatures that I’d run into while wandering around. But I remember passing by a solitary wolf somewhere near Riften and realizing that we were the same. He howled at the lonely moon and I didn’t attack him as I passed by. At that moment I knew that we were the same all along. Both alone in this hostile land and misunderstood. Longing for something we’ll never have.
